About the workshop

Origami and Kirigami are quite famous examples of intersections of Math and Art. But Paper Folding Geometry is equally interesting but less known area. In this workshop, we will discuss how to construct geometrical shapes like equilateral triangle, regular hexagon, regular pentagon, angles of various measures, cutting a segment into Golden ratio, etc. using just paper folding. We would have done some of this using a ruler and compass but paper folding opens a new dimension of geometrical constructions that people of all ages can enjoy.
